Threolissima [R3.0.4]
produced by Taron, 30-01-2007

  • A pure subtractor song. Maybe a tiny little bit of a comeback...not enough for a real one, but it's something...

...i just can't find a proper lable for style here...like that's unusal?! It's kind of pop with a little drum'n'bass, a little idm, a little new-age - wait, make this a whole bunch of new-age - and altogether really a fullblooded electronica song.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

CHECK OUT the mp3 of it! It's an extended version, I just didn't want to add another version of the .rps to here, so instead it's an mp3.

    Thanx everyone!

I can't rate for the lack of knowledge, but what I can say is that this is quite interesting. I couldn't imagine a waltz played by subtractors before :) Musically, very nice, but your latest work seemed to be even more interesting than this one. I liked how you used intervals in measures 137-138.

    Best regards.

    Hi Taron,

Well, the lable for the style is "Taron" :) ... as usual.

I really love the lead melody on this.

I really like the transition at around bar 82, what are the chords that you are coming from .. going to at that point ?

Nice to see you again! And nice to hear a song that remind me of the old times of RS with you, Halmqvist, tahitilink and anbos... Maybe you will bring Halmqvist back too....

Well, all in all a great piece of music!!! Respect, Anders!

I would call the style progressive rock (in the old days it was symphonic rock) with a touch of jazz. Makes me think of Patrick Moraz, Jean Luc Ponty, Genesis and a little bit Pat Metheny in his old days.
You amaze me again :>) What a great composition! And you're the only guy I know who is truely limited by the impossibilties of our subtractor....ah no....at 192 khz it will sound perfectly due to the fact that alliasing issues don't play a role anymore at that sampling frequency. Gotta get me new converters :>) Big Hug!

hmmm....The master“s back with a strong piece of music !
Composition-wise wonderful interesting and an incredible sound design ; not the first time as we all know.
A matter of taste of course but the most impressive element here is the hammeric patch (!!!). --- the styles you mentioned above blend well...Go submarine ! (10.0)

How innovative, your ideas are simply wonderous. Theres not much more for me to say about this one, apart from damn I love that lead.

Thanks again for some cool music :)

    All the best,
    Matty

What a beautiful opening and the perfect way to capture the attention! From this point I was hooked. Truely expressive, even provocative with an absolutely sublime 'lead' taking charge of the whole affair, and then the addition of the harmonising 'sublead' lifts us clear away. The drums, are a technical marvel. I would never have considered using subtractors to produce percussive sounds until now :)

Varietal arrangment with well chosen supporting instrumentation makes this one of my favourites from your Taron and further fuels my interest in your work! My only wish is that is was much longer!

    Please visit more often!

P.S. How's the work with Messiah going?
