So I just glanced at my email and my eye was drawn to the subject line....Reason 5....Cant believe it. Its finally here and I was not expecting this.

Future Music have just published a "world exclusive" on their site. According to their sources in Sweden, the Propellerheads will use their upcoming Producers Conference on Saturday to announce a new Digital Audio Workstation product. Future music believe therefore that this will not be an upgrade to reason, but a whole new product category - a full blown DAW with audio recording!!
Propellerheads Reason Version 5.0
The buzz around the web about the next Reason release, version 5.0, is slowly increasing every day. Dan and other propellerheads regularly post updates on the crew pages about testing and milestones on the new product.
Amazon has a page up on Power Tools for Reason 5, sequal to Peff's great Reason manual.
Computer Music today hinted a new product or version must be on its way:
We don't have anything concrete beyond the fact that something is coming and that it really will be a major launch (ie, not just another posh ReFill), but with the company hosting five Producer Conferences around the globe on May 9th, we're expecting that to be the date upon which all interested eyes should be glued to teh internets.
Even searches on google for "reason 5" have been slowly increasing over the last 12 months.
