Propellerhead Record open beta is now available
Wednesday, 22 July 2009
Propellerhead Record Beta is now open (you'll need an invite) to the public and you can run it until 9/9/9, when it gets released. There is also no NDA, so you can share your songs, sounds, videos, and screenshots. I will update the Refill and Song section soon to enable Propellerhead Record uploads.

Propellerhead Record - our summary & early views
Like everyone else, when Propellerheads launched Record we went straight over to Propellerhead site to check it out. Immediate impressions were tweeted, and now that I've had some time to digest I have included a summary of the key information, with the links to mandatory audio samples, below. For those looking for the pre-launch coverage & video's, they are available from our Propellerhead Record Prelaunch page.
Our big questions
What features has Reason got that have not been integrated in Record? Ie - when would I work in Reason, or can I do everything in Record what I could do previously in Reason?
Answer:All features of Reason will be available through Record, if you have a fully licensed Reason installed. So owners of Reason will only need to work with Record as the application.
Will Record mean the end to Reason updates and the emergence of the ReasonMuseum?
>p>Answer:No. There is a dedicated team in Propellerhead working on the next version of Reason
How easy will it be for users to share Record songs? As everything is in a single file its easy to share, but not so easy to collaborate? (What will that mean for ReasonStation bandwidth)
Answer:Not sure yet.
